This morning our author brings us to one of the most sobering passages in this book. One which we must take seriously as we consider the fruit of obedience being produced in our lives. May God sensitize our hearts to hear and obey His voice speaking to us in His Word.
As we return to our study in Hebrews, we come to a third set of warnings that we must all take care to heed. As we look at our passage in Hebrews 5, may we do so with a heart ready to hear and obey God’s voice.
This morning we jump back into our study in the book of Hebrews. Our passage is focused on helping us see the superior priesthood that Jesus possesses in comparison to the High Priests who served Israel. Our application will focus on how this truth helps us in our fight against unbelief. May these truths supply us with the ammunition we need to battle the threats that tempt us to doubt God’s character and wisdom.
