“I’m sorry, could you repeat that again?” As we age our hearing is often one of the first signs we’re not as spry as we used to be. But it is the reverse when we speak of our spiritual growth. Hearing with the ears of our spiritual hearts is the first area where we see the transforming power of the gospel demonstrating its present work. In our passage for this morning we see Jesus expounding on this principle as Mark continues his explanation of Jesus’ true identity.
