Inauguration Through Preaching and Pursuit

With memories of President Trump’s inauguration still lingering in our minds, we come to our passage this morning where we see Mark presenting an inauguration of sorts for Jesus.  But in contrast to presidential inaugurations, Jesus’ message and pursuit of a people demands a response from all who hear because of the authority He possesses.  May we hear God’s voice through His Word to us today.
