Mark: Jesus Suffers Alone

All of us enter into friendships and relationships with the expectation that the other party and ourselves will live up to what we say we will do.  None of us would begin a friendship where we know our confidence will be betrayed.  But Jesus doesn’t do that.  In seeking us He knows we won’t be faithful.  But thankfully He is.  As we look at our passage for today we are celebrating that Jesus suffered alone for our good and God’s glory.
