Riding roller coasters can be a bit intimidating even for the most seasoned rider. The dramatic ups and downs serve as an apt metaphor in thinking about discipleship. As we’ll see this morning in the lives of some of Jesus’ female disciples and a prominent religious leader, Jesus calls us to move forward in battling our fears by walking by faith in His promises.
