We all like to know what to expect. Like, what to expect during my first time visit to a previously unknown church, school, or workplace. This extends to what we should expect as we join Jesus in the ministry He’s called us to fulfill. In our passage for this morning we gain a glimpse into the suffering that often will accompany us on this journey. But in the end we’re reminded that any loss is trivial in light of all we gain because of Christ.
