It is easy to just go through the motions of living like a Christian when Christianity is the dominant religion of the culture, but not be truly converted. As Zephaniah addresses Judah he brings the warning that a day of reckoning is coming. This will be a day when everyone’s true condition will be revealed. So, we are reminded that our only hope is found when we seek the Lord in humility and faith and live out our faith in our daily actions.
