Billy Little – Lay Pastor

Billy was blessed to grow up in a Christian home with wonderful parents, and accepted Jesus Christ to be his personal Savior at a young age. Billy was homeschooled through high school and enlisted in the US Nav a couple of years after high school. Billy met Jenny early in his career as a Navy Special Operations bomb tech, and they have been married since 2001. After Billy retired from the Navy, the Little family moved to Fort Wayne and began attending Aboite Baptist Church. Billy and Jenny are blessed with eight children who are homeschooled. Billy enjoys spending time with his family, working with his hands, and reading and discussing theology, philosophy, politics, and leadership. He is honored to have the opportunity to serve God and the people of Aboite Baptist Church.

Daniel Metcalfe – Lay Pastor

Daniel and his family joined Aboite around Easter of 2017. After serving as church planting missionaries in Fort Wayne for a year and a half, they felt God was leading them to join an established body where the Word of God was faithfully taught and the people of God were graciously loved. Daniel came to know the Lord as Savior in January 1990, was called into the ministry in June of 1993, and has served in various pastoral roles since. He met his wife, Sarah, at Samford University (their alma mater) in Birmingham, AL. They got married in August of 1997. They have four children: Anna, Ruthie, Grant, and Joshua. Daniel’s hobbies include: golf, fly fishing, and stereo repair. Actually, none of that is true. He has no hobbies… he’s really a pretty boring guy.

His life verse is Gen 21:12 – ‘… listen to whatever Sarah tells you…’

Zach Olson – Church Planting & Youth

Zach may have been born in Lansing, Michigan, but he was born again in the 6th grade by God’s glorious grace. The Lord directed his course to pastoral ministry in high school. He attended Grace College and Theological Seminary where he met his wife, Alivia, and graduated with an M.Div. in Pastoral Studies in 2022. The Olson’s enjoy college basketball (Michigan State for Zach and IU for Alivia, which never causes any issues…), movies, and Mario Kart. They also desire to be sent out by Aboite Baptist Church to plant a church in the Fort Wayne area. Zach’s favorite verse is his life’s mission: “Serve the Lord with reverential awe and rejoice with trembling” (Ps. 2:11).

Chase Ringler – Preaching

The Lord was gracious in saving Chase from his sins at a young age. Through the faithful witness of his parents and other key people in his life, the good news about Jesus became his passion. He is a graduate of Grace College and Theological Seminary, earning a B. A. in History and Bible as well as an MDiv. He also completed a doctorate in expository preaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chase is married to Kelsey and they have four children, Hezekiah, Elle, Emma, and Davy. The Ringler’s enjoy sports (go Reds, IU, Pacers, and Colts), history (Chase, not Kelsey), running (Kelsey, not Chase), reading, and John Wayne movies.

Matthew Russell – Admin & Discipleship

Matthew grew up in a home where the Gospel was taught regularly and came to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus around the 7th grade, when entering the youth group. Through the ministry of his Youth Pastor and other members of the church, Matthew came to love the Lord and serving Him, which led him to pursue vocational ministry in the Church. Matthew earned his B.A. and M.Div. in Biblical & Theological Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky, where he met and married his wife, Kelsey. They were married in 2016 and have since been blessed with three wonderful girls: Madeline, Raleigh, and Ophelia. The Russell family enjoys going on walks, having fires, and cooking together. Matthew loves teaching his girls to appreciate God’s Creation. While less important, he also impresses his love of Star Wars on them and, so far, it’s working. He loves to kayak, cycle, smoke meats, and learn new things.

Stan Schneider – Lay Pastor (On Sabbatical)

Stan and his wife Patty first attended ABC back in 1989, after moving to Fort Wayne. Stan enjoys mentoring and teaching individuals and groups and has served as a lay pastor since 2002. Stan serves on the management team of an Ohio based company that manufacturers furniture for medical centers across the country. During his “rest and rejuvenation” time you might find he and Patty riding their Harley Davidson or traveling to visit their two daughters, Brittni and Nicole (and soon-to-be son-in-law Seta). A few of Stan’s favorite verses speak of the constant reminder of God’s glory from Psalms 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” and the reminder that His glory was revealed to us in our Savior, Jesus Christ from John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
